The Art of Workplace Well-Being: Arts & Health Breakfast

Friday, September 18, 2026 · 7:30–9:00 AM
Center for BrainHealth, 2200 W. Mockingbird Ln., Dallas

130 town halls before a single wall went up. UT Southwestern’s new Texas Behavioral Health Center was shaped by more than 130 conversations with patients, families, clinicians, and neighbors. Over breakfast, the people who built it explain what that process changed, and how the lessons apply to any organization that is planning, renovating, or occupying space.

You’ll leave with a method, not a mood board: how the listening was structured, which design decisions were made on evidence, and what art is doing in a clinical building.
