The 2025-2026 Leadership Arts Institute (LAI) is now accepting applications! This program develops leadership skills, fosters career growth, and connects professionals across diverse industries to address challenges facing North Texas arts and cultural nonprofits.

With Leadership Arts Institute, you’ll have exclusive access to the top arts organizations and nonprofit leadership in North Texas. Participants also gain hands-on experience by applying their knowledge to real-world challenges faced by local nonprofits today.

After graduating, LAI Graduates get priority opportunities to match with nonprofit art boards through Leadership Arts Alumni. Apply and join over 1,500 Leadership Arts Institute graduates

Celebrating 36 years of connecting commerce and culture in North Texas, Business Council for the Arts (BCA) has led nearly 1,500 business leaders through the prestigious Leadership Arts Institute program, with graduates now serving on more than 170 arts boards nationwide. With experience collaborating with nearly 500 North Texas arts nonprofits, BCA is striving to expand its reach with 150 member organizations and growing.
