Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Tex Moton has been a leader in the city’s art scene for decades. As a teenager in 1991, Tex co-founded Dallas’ first city wide graffiti artist collective called Infinite Crew (aka I.C.). Since its incorporation, I.C. has pushed the street art boundaries and culture in Dallas, TX. with innovative styles and techniques. Tex then expanded his artistic range to include fashion when he designed and conceptualized the YUMS brand. In 2007 YUMS launched its first collection of its flagship sneakers the Sweet Series, which embodied the bold colors and clean lines of Tex’s signature graffiti style. It was this combination of his unique almost pop art, mixed with his love for food, snacks, and all treats worldwide that gained an instant fan following and love. Tex incorporates his use of bold colors, rich fabrics, and clean design lines to bring that signature energy to every project he is now involved in! Tex has had the pleasure of working with and designing products for many brands such as the Dallas Mavericks, the Texas Rangers, FC Dallas, The San Antonio Spurs, The Oklahoma Thunder, the Nashville Predators, WWF wrestling, and lately a South Park/YUMS limited edition sneaker. His newest brand which he is focused on building is “f&f” (Fruits & Flowers) and clothing brand Tex envisioned to speak to his faith and core belief system that good works yield good Fruits, and a positively impactful life produces Flowers!
