Neighborhood Mini-Museum: Pilot Program

Leadership Arts Institute’s Collin/Denton Class of 2023, in partnership with One CommunityUSA, will transform 1Nice Cut Barbershop into a local art gallery. Local artists will be highlighted, raising awareness of their work, and hopefully, inspiring local youth. We anticipate that the art collection will increase the barbershop’s community standing and be economically beneficial.

Our program’s mission is to bring art, and the story of humanity’s existence as told through art, to individuals who do not typically visit art museums, galleries, or art events. The social, developmental, and educational value of art is precious. Results of this pilot program will be analyzed, documented, and potentially replicated throughout North Texas.

Your help is essential to making this program a true success. We are currently collecting donations for our opening celebration.
