Julianna E. Wright Bio

Julianna received her B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin where she studied under Dr. Coleman A. Jennings; a pioneer in the establishment of Theatre Education as a requirement for all Texas elementary school students. After receiving her B.A. in Theatre Studies, she assumed the position of Producing Artistic Director of Second Youth Family Theatre, a non-profit corporation that produced family-oriented Theatre productions and Arts Education programs for the residents of Austin and the surrounding communities. Simultaneously, she held the role of Performance Director at The McCallum Fine Arts Academy where she helped students prepare for the next steps in their artistic journey to great success. Having recently settled in Dallas after five years teaching English as a Foreign Language through the Art of Theatre in Yokohama, Japan, Julianna now holds the Education Director position with Dallas Children’s Theater. As an experienced Producer, Director, Actor, Playwright, and Theatre Educator, Julianna is excited to continue her journey providing the young people of Dallas with the tools necessary to reach their full potential as artists.
