BUSINESS COUNCIL FOR THE ARTS PRESENTS

THE POWER OF STORYTELLING TO HEAL: WRITING WORKSHOP

Laurel Braitman, Ph.D. is a New York Times bestselling author and the Director of Writing and Storytelling at the Medical Humanities and the Arts Program at the Stanford University School of Medicine.

She will lead a unique writing workshop before her lecture for a small group of participants. This reflective writing workshop was created for anyone working in healthcare + their loved ones. Established in March 2020, the workshops are 75 minutes long and have been attended by thousands of healthcare professionals from around the world. Sessions consist of a short craft lesson in vulnerable and powerful written communication, time for guided writing in response to prompts, and opportunities to share and receive feedback about your work.  Don’t miss this profound and transformational opportunity. No experience is required!

This Business Council for the Arts (BCA) annual Arts & Health event is presented by the Lupe Murchison Foundation with support provided by Texas Health Resources Foundation and Texas Scottish Rite for Children Hospital.
