Anne Kindseth Bio

Anne Kindseth is the Director of Education at the Meadows Museum, SMU. She joined the Meadows in January 2018 as education programs manager, and currently oversees the museum’s lectures, public programs, and university initiatives, including establishing partnerships with a range of academic departments and developing paid opportunities for SMU students to gain work experience at the museum. Prior to joining the Meadows Museum, Kindseth held positions at the Crow Collection of Asian Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Providence Children’s Museum. She holds an BA in Art History from the University of Texas at Austin, a MA in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of Southern California, and an Ed. M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
