Mariell Guzman is a mixed media painter, muralist, illustrator and installation artist currently based in Dallas, Texas. Guzman was born in Michoacán, Mexico, and her heritage has deeply influenced her relationship and interaction with art. Her personal experience with the richness of color and diversity of artistic expression in Mexico intricately sculpted the development of her creative process.

Guzman’s mural is one of many that can be found at The Hill — a unique shopping, cultural and entertainment destination in Dallas with an intentional integration of art throughout the property. The art at The Hill is a curated mix of one-of-a-kind murals and artwork that authenticates the property’s commitment toward sustainability and brings a distinct sense of community and creative culture to its outdoor spaces. Business Council for the Arts is proud to have been involved in the early stages of this creative initiative.
